In 2015 I am taking a year out between high school and university to volunteer abroad. Through Lattitude Global Volunteering, I am teaching English at both a high school and a kindergarten in Poland from January to June (Lattitude is an organisation that works to match young people with a various volunteer placements all over the world. Check them out!). Obviously, being in Europe, I plan to take the best advantage of this opportunity to travel throughout Europe on weekends, but in addition I am taking eight weeks after my placement ends to backpack around Europe like a proper traveller :P
This blog is the easiest way I can think of to share my experiences (the good, the bad, the... interesting) with all my family and friends en masse, and if it leads to inspiring someone else to travel, take a gap year or volunteer, all the better.
